Soviet KL-10 KL-8 pocket Air Navigation airplane slide rules 1946 1964 USSR

This is a regular size KL-10  slide rule in the original signed case with additional (still wrapped) rule for map navigation. The wrapper is also date with 1964! In addition there is a 1946 (dated on the rule) pocket model KL-8 included in this lot. These rules were made by different makes to Soviet standards. They were used for airplane navigational purposes in civilian and military aircrafts. They were also used in other countries. These are in the Russian language. The slide rules are sturdy build, white laminate over a pine frame with aluminum end pieces and hard wood with plastic cursors. The KL-10 shows only small signs of use and age, the KL-8 has seen more action but is also complete (no case).
