Faber Castell Novo Duplex 2/83N in case 1970 French Germany

Large well know slide rule that was made in Germany by A.W. Faber & Castell and is called the Novo Duplex 2/83N. This one comes as a complete set with box, French manual and insert. The slide rule and cursor are both complete and in great condition, The box is complete, closes well and has no cracks, top of the box transparant part has turned darker. It measures ca. 38 cm or 15 inches long. This great rule is reinforced with metal pieces, the screws have darkened due to age. There are hardly signs of use or age, there is minimal yellowing to the top 3 red scales only…this is as good as they get.
