Description
Beautiful Esso Petroleum can from the Netherlands, made ca, 1950. It holds 5 liters (or as stated on the can : 5 ltr). It measures 12 inches or 32 cm high. It is made of tin with grey cloudy white enamel and has a handle on top and on the lower back. It also has Dutch patent nr: 69589. the “Ned. Octr.” stands for “Nederlands Octrooinummer”. It is in an overall good used condition with a piece of enamel missing from the side as well as from the top. There are small chips missing from the bottom and some small signs of rust.  Check the attached video to see a nice collection of Petroliana!
