R. AERONAUTICA Bernadori airplane photography slide rule 1950 Italy

This is an early, ca 1950’s civilian use slide rule for calculating condition for arial photography aka taking pictures out of airplanes. It is Italian made and called the Regalo Aeronautica (aviation)/ Regalo Aerofotografico (arial photography) according to the system by Bernadori and sold through B.Rossi in Rome. Used by civilian pilots and crew from around the 1950 and probably earlier judging its construction. It has 2 separate moving slides in the middle, so there is no special use for a cursor so this design has none. It comes in the original high quality leather sleeve with embossed gold lettering. Everything is complete, no cracks, chips or dings and in working condition with only small signs of use but some signs of age (the on the back show some moist bubbling).
