Pickett Eckel decimal deci point in sleeve 1945 USA

High quality early slide rule by Pickett and Eckel from the USA. This is the model Deci Point in white from the 1945 (patent pending). This is a standard width and double sided version, but instead of putting on extra scales, much of the room is used for easy calculating the decimal point which was a thing in earlier mass use (for education) of the slide rule. It has the high quality build you would expect, it being all aluminum/aluminium with metal reinforced ends as well. It comes in the original signed leather case with Pickett Eckel name. The rule and case are in good condition but with clear signs of use and age. It measures ca 31 cm or 12 1/4 inches long.
