OKWA smaller Chess set K60 ca. 1960 Netherlands

Nice wooden chess set made in the Netherlands by OKWA a factory for wooden toys from ca. 1900 to 1970.  The pieces are of course all there with some signs of normal use and age. They have been lovingly dressed with felt on the bottom by a former owner. The king size is ca. 6 cm or 2 1/4 inches high. The shapes of the various pieces are a little different from what we see in mass produced pieces. I tried to show this in the pictures. It comes in a beautiful dove tail high quality box. It give the set a great vintage vibe and makes it a good conversation set. Check out the YouTube video below on some vintage chess!
