Graphoplex Fleximax sys Potzsch steel beam construction slide rule 1960 France

This highly customized slide rule comes in the original signed container both carry the Fleximax name. It is a dedicated slide rule using a system by G. Potzsch, Demulder and Gajac. produced by Graphoplex from France. The model is known as the Fleximax. It was specifically made for calculating steel beam constructions and the weight they could carry. It has scales on the front and cursor to do so. On the back the different constructions are shown, the back side of the slider has additional calculation scales. The cursor is one of a kind, helping the calculations. The curser and rule are complete and in very good condition. The cardboard container show some signs of use and age. the slide rule measures ca. 30 cm or 12 inches.
