Faber Castell 2x Duplex 2/82 and 62/82 slide rule in cases 1960 Germany

Combination of 2 slide rules with manual. The manual (German) covers both the normal size 2/82 and the pocket 62/82 version. In the 1960’s these were amongst the best slide rules by Faber Castell before the later “N” versions. Both slide rules come in their original signed box and sleeve. The rules and cursors are in good condition with some signs of normal use and age. There is hardly any yellowing where this is often seen on the “N” versions. The larger rule measures ca. 33 cm or 13 1/4 inches long and the pocket version measures 19 cm or 7 3/4 inches long. Both rules have the same design with reinforced metal pieces on the ends.
