This Aristo 40128 is the pocket version to the 90103 Wire slide rule / Draht Rechenschieber. It is in English and German but also has the French and Spanish language on it. It is used for making calculating for wire-drawing machines, based on the knowledge of F.Kohlhase and copyrighted in 1960. This is the later version copyrighted 1965 by H.F. Heuel. It has a unique construction where the slide in the middle is see-through with scales on top and bottom only so there is room voor the calculations and schematics for wire reduction he H and G scales. On the back is an additional cursor for the carbon content and strength table. The cursor measures ca. 8,5 cm or 3 1/2 inches high and slides over the entire rule on both sides. The rule measures a ca. 16 cm cm or 6 1/4 inches wide. It comes in the original black vinyl sleeve. Everything is in good condition with some signs of use and age, all complete, fully functional and no cracks. The decal on the back is a little darker and has minimal wear at the right edge.
