Aristo 0958 Geodät Land Surveyor 400g slide rule set 1965 Germany

This Aristo 958 slide rule comes in a set with the original plastic container, manual in German and the inside sheet and plastic, which are all made in Germany in 1965 according to the date stap. This model is the 0958 Geodät (aka 958 Geodat), a special slide rule made for the Land Surveying in Europe, with the 400g (Gon/Gradian scale) instead of the 360 degree scale. This slide rule has a specific “ER” indicator over the hairline. It has scales on the front and back with 2 still somewhat visible yellow lines on both sides of the slider. Curser and rule are complete and in very good condition. Some signs of use and age, there is minimal silver paint missing on the curser rims. The container is complete and in very good condition as well. The small rubber fixed feet on the rule itself are all accounted for and in good shape. The complete manual has a small tear and a small fold only, name written on front. The rule measures ca. 34 cm or ca. 13 3/4 inches wide.
