Ahrend Sun Hemmi 260 University Slide rule case manual Japan 1966 Netherlands

This complex slide rule was well guarded by it’s original cardboard container, made in Japan by Sun Hemmi specially for the Dutch distributor Ahrend. It is marked with the Q for 1966 and with the Ahrend name. This model is the 260 aka “Advanced Engineer” and “University”. It has scales on both sides and a heavy duty cursor with multiple hairlines. Slide rule and curser are complete and everything is in very good condition with some small signs of use and age only. The cardboard container is complete and signed Hemmi, there is white tape on the ends but Hemmi 260 is still a little visible on the top. It measures ca. 32 cm or 12 1/2 inches.
